What are Toll-Free Numbers?
Toll-Free Numbers (TFNs) can be called by anyone in the US without them incurring charges. These numbers begin with one of the following three-digit codes: 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, or 833.
Toll-Free Messaging turns on the ability to send text messages from one or more toll-free telephone numbers. Recipients can respond to that message with a call or text.
Although 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, and 833 are all toll-free codes, they are not interchangeable.
TFNs are best suited to Application-to-Person (A2P) communications and are more affordable than US Short Codes.
