A merchant descriptor is the name that appears on both a merchant's and a customer's bank or credit card statement when a customer makes a purchase from the merchant.

To add a Merchant Descriptor, proceed to the Payment Settings section of your Chat 2 Pay configuration, and provide the Merchant Descriptor you would like to use.

If this field is left blank, a default Merchant Descriptor will be applied by the merchant's bank.
