Campaign Manager: How do I make sure my message does not contain non-GSM characters?

Using non-GSM characters in your messages could result in additional and inflated costs per message.

Any SMS messages that include one or more non-GSM characters will be separated into Unicode messages of 70 characters or less. Use the non-GSM character checker to identify and highlight all Unicode characters in red and remove those characters to ensure that you only pay for one message part. One message part equals 160 GSM characters or 70 Unicode characters. Even if your message only contains one non-GSM character, the entire message is automatically converted to Unicode in order to successfully deliver the message.

To check your messages, navigate to Tools> Non-GSM Character Checker. Enter the text that you want to send. Any non-GSM characters will be highlighted in red.
