Before you start sending it to Singapore, please ensure you understand the regulations around SMS messaging. All programs are required to be compliant with the regulations outlined in The Spam Control Act 2007 developed by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and the Attorney-General's Chambers of Singapore (AGC). Non-compliant messages may be blocked and filtered by major carrier networks like M1 and Singtel.

From 31 January 2023, all organizations that wish to send SMS messages with alphanumeric Sender IDs must first register their Sender IDs with the SSIR (Singapore SMS Sender ID Registry).

Opt-out instructions required	Users must opt-in to your service. Unsolicited messages are subject to damages and fines as described in the Spam Control Act 2007. Marketing messages can be sent only after explicit opt-in consent is received for your service. Users on the Do Not Call registry should not be contacted.
Sender ID regulations	From 31 January 2023, all organizations that wish to send SMS messages with alphanumeric Sender IDs must first register their Sender IDs with the SSIR (Singapore SMS Sender ID Registry). Only registered Sender IDs will reach Singapore users, and non-registered Sender IDs will be channeled to a Sender ID bearing the name “Likely-SCAM” for a transitionary period of around 6 months (till the end of July 2023).
