How does A2P 10DLC registration work?

A2P 10DLC registration is applicable to all businesses that use long numbers to send and receive messages in the US. In order to register, you will be required to provide the following information:

Brand Registration
  • Legal Company Name

  • DBA/Brand Name (if different from legal name)

  • Country of Registration

  • Type of Organization

  • Tax Number/ID/EIN

  • Address

  • Website

  • Stock Symbol (if publicly traded)

  • Stock Exchange (if publicly traded)

  • Business Vertical

Campaign Registration
  • Use Case

  • Use Case Vertical

  • Campaign Description

  • Sample Message(s)

  • Additional Campaign Details

Clickatell will gather the required registration information for your application and submit it to the Campaign Registry for carrier approval. Once both the Brand and Campaign have been approved, long numbers associated with it can be used to start sending and receiving messages with the benefits of the 10DLC sanctioned environment for A2P messaging.

Clickatell is also updating the application process in our customer portal for easy access and self-management of this new messaging service. We will share the details as soon as it is available.

In an effort to reduce spam and phishing attacks, all three carriers have already started their 10DLC migration, and unregistered campaigns are subject to being blocked by AT&T and T-Mobile in the coming months.
