Qatar SMS messaging regulations and restrictions

Restriction Description
Sender ID Pre-registration is required.
Time restriction Messages may be sent between 8 am and 9 pm only (Qatari time)
Content regulation All messages should comply with culture and traditions observed, and the rules and regulations followed, in the countries being targeted. Over and above this, the following is prohibited:

  • Pornography or adult content
  • Abusive messages
  • Hate speech
  • Incitation to violence
  • Racism
