If you regularly use your Clickatell account to send or receive messages, your virtual currency won’t expire. However, if you don’t actively use your account, your account, including your positive balance, may expire at some point.
The rules for account expiry differ from country to country. Clickatell expires inactive accounts on an ad hoc basis, but will always notify you if your account is flagged as inactive. You will receive 30 days’ warning so you can send messages or make a purchase to prevent your credits from expiring.
A minimum activity of one message sent or one purchase every three months will keep your account active and in good standing.
