How do I implement the icon registration process needed for Secure GridPlus?

If you’re offering Secure GridPlus authentication to your customers, they’ll need to register one or more icon categories with you, the service provider, prior to their first authentication.

To receive to the icon categories and the icons themselves, Clickatell offers a REST API call to download these categories and icons <insert details>.

Once you have downloaded the category names and icons, you can display the icons to your users for selection. Choose to show all icons for all categories, or only a selection per category. The user will choose one, two or three icon categories, and will be asked to remember them (e.g. horse, house, ball). Keep in mind that a maximum of three icons is recommended.

When you place the API call to Clickatell, you’ll need to include the chosen icon categories in the call so Clickatell can verify the user’s selection. Note that we’ll never store your customer’s chosen icon categories – these are securely sent with each API call in order to be verified, but never saved on our system.
