Banta Furniture needed an effective way to keep its customers up to date on the production and delivery status of their furniture. Banta would typically receive around 700 customer calls per day, and needed a way to cut down on individual delivery enquiry and call center costs. Because they offer worldwide coverage, they needed a partner with a global footprint.
Banta made use of Clickatell's Com Object API, which enabled them to build their own system in Visual Basic to work with their database. Clickatell’s global reach ensured worldwide coverage and quick delivery of SMS updates.
With the increase in global coverage and delivery times, Banta is now planning to extend this SMS solution to allow employees to check their salary statements and transaction dates via SMS.
