Music supplies store Dawsons Music was looking for a communication solution that would allow for timely customer collections of repaired goods. This system would increase efficiency by keeping customers in the loop and cutting down on phone calls.
Dawsons Music integrated Clickatell's SMTP (email to SMS) with their existing intranet system. Customers receive SMS messages to confirm bookings and notify them once the item is ready for collection. Messages are customized for each store with a Repair ID number instructing the customer to call the shop prior to collection.
As a result of being better informed, Dawsons customers are happier with the repair process. Effective communication via SMS has turned the experience of having repairs done into a positive one.
