In today's competitive Banking environment it has become crucial for financial organizations to provide customers with real-time, reliable information on their banking transactions, no matter where they are located. FNB wanted to extend its existing SMS service beyond the precincts of South Africa to neighboring countries in order to ensure that each and every FNB customer, no matter his or her location, could benefit from text-based alerts.
