Clickatell Opens East Coast Office; Appoints Senior Wireless and Mobile Messaging Executives To Meet Growing Enterprise Demand August 22, 2006 Redwood Shores, CA - Clickatell, Inc. the premier global mobile messaging operator today announced the establishment of its east coast office in Alexandria, VA. In line with the opening of the east coast office, the company also appointed Reinhard Seidel as Director of Product Marketing and Patrick Dine as Director of Business Development. The appointments follow the company's recent merger with MultiMode, Inc. and its establishment of US headquarters in the Silicon Valley. Patrick Dine joins Clickatell from Materna USA Inc. where he successfully launched the wireless company in North America. Prior to establishing Materna, Mr. Dine led business development initiatives for Mportal, Inc. resulting in strategic partnerships with Accenture, Integic and Voicestream. Mr. Dine also founded and managed his own consulting company, Endeavour Connect, focused on international business development and has held various senior marketing positions in the technology industry. Mr. Dine will manage Clickatell's east coast office and operations with a focus of serving the company's growing government and enterprise business. As the former Director of Products & Services at ucp morgen, Reinhard Seidel was instrumental in developing business relationships with content providers, SMS aggregators and handset test partners. He successfully introduced the company's media delivery solution into the US market. Prior to ucp morgen he managed Mobileway's SMS based enterprise service initiatives and has held senior management positions at Fusionone, Connect Austria and more. Mr. Seidel most recently held the position of Senior Solutions Architect at Qpass where he was responsible for sales and solutions for the company's Service Management Platform. "Patrick and Reinhard provide us with the proven market experience and technology expertise we require to meet the growing demand for multimodal messaging in the enterprise," states Jim Queen, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, Clickatell. "We're delighted to have both of these respected industry leaders on our team as we continue to expand our deployments into enterprise mobile messaging." The use of mobile messaging within the enterprise and by government organisations is on the rise. Both have realised the value of reaching their audiences wherever they are and in the way they want to be contacted. For instance, banks can send transaction alerts to customers via text message to their cellphones to ensure instant delivery. Governments chose to use escalating means of contacting people during an emergency: so if a phone call doesn't reach someone, a text or email will. Clickatell currently offers a range of Fortune 500 companies appropriate, reliable and trusted messaging services.
