Winning is easy! Here's what the competition is about:
To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we're giving you the chance to come up with up to 10 creative ways to score with SMS, from your own business.
What we need from you is a short script or storyboard with up to 10 of your own creative ways to score with SMS. It's that simple! The winner will get a brand-new HTC Legend A6363 Unlocked GSM Android-based Smartphone.
HERE'S WHAT TO DO:
- Get some inspiration from the '10 Ways to Score' listed below
- List up to 10 ways of your own '10 Ways to Score' and write a short but very creative script
- Once your script is complete, submit it via email to promotions@clickatell.com
COMPETION RULES
- Entries that contain obscenities, content of a questionable nature or that do not directly relate to the '10 Ways to Score with SMS' theme will not be considered eligible for the final draw.
- The judges' decision regarding the winning entry is final.
- Entries will be accepted from 1 May 2010 until 31 July 2010.
- This competition is subject to the official Terms and Conditions.

10 Ways to score: example
1. AIRLINES
Facilitate check-ins and to keep passengers up to date with
possible delays and/or cancellations via SMS.
Score: Passengers will be reassured that they are in good
hands. In the event of flight delays or cancellations,
passengers will appreciate being kept up to date.
2.HOTELS
Confirm bookings and provide 'Best Restaurant' information via SMS.
Score: No longer will patrons wonder whether their booking
was subject to an electronic mishap. They'll also appreciate
the expertise offered by the hotel for a better experience.
3.CAR RENTALS
SMS travellers with directions to their destinations.
Score: Sat nav leading customers into unexpected areas and
situations? Travellers will appreciate the 1st hand information
on how to reach their destination.
4.TOURISM ORGANISATIONS
Accept SMS messages from travellers containing current
location, destination and date, and reply with instant quote.
Score: Customer service at its best - No longer will your
current and potential customers have to wait in queues, either
telephonically or physically. Give them the ability to request
and accept quotes in minutes!
5.CLUBS
Customers who text their name or a keyword to an advertised
short code can get V.I.P. access to certain events.
Score: Regular and new visitors will feel like celebrities, and
be sure to come back for more of the same. Careful, you
might need a bigger venue soon!
6. RESTAURANTS
Send out SMS-based coupons to regular and prospective
customers, offering them discounts on their next visit.
Score: Customers will keep on coming back to redeem their
coupons, thereby increasing sales and also fuelling customer
loyalty.
7.EVENT ORGANISERS
SMS text messaging can provide a cost-effective alternative
to voice calls to confirm orders, dates and delivery times of
event goods with suppliers.
Score: Employing a cost-effective and quick communications
solution can help you save money and increase efficiency.
8.TRAVEL AGENTS
SMS travellers with all the information they need on their
journeys - from 'best hotel' and 'places to see' to flight status
information.

9.TAXI SERVICES
Give customers the freedom to book your service via SMS. If
a particular date and time is not available, reply with the

Keep game lovers up to date by sending a SMS with forthcoming attractions,
specials and news about their favourite vacation spot.
Score: If current and potential customers are made aware of
the services you have to offer, you might just find all your
spaces booked when the holidays start.
NOTE
There is no requirement to follow the structure or
examples given above - you've got total creative freedom!Just come up with your own '10 Ways to Score', bound together in a script.

CLICKATELL 10 WAYS TO SCORE PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Clickatell (Proprietary) Limited ("Clickatell") conducts this 10 Ways to Score promotion which works like this:
- The '10 Ways to Score' promotion starts on 1 May 2010 and will end on 31 July 2010.
- Entrants must submit their entries via email to the address that can be found by clicking here promotions@clickatell.com. Entries should either constitute the main body of the email, or be attached in .doc, .docx, .html, .pdf,
.txt or .ppt format and must contain a script or storyboard surrounding the central '10 Ways to Score' (with SMS) theme for video production purposes.
- Entrants that submit their entries according to the above criteria will automatically be considered as valid entrants into the competition, and stand a chance to win the HTC Legend A6363 Unlocked GSM Android
Based Smartphone.
- Clickatell shall not provide the handset specified as the main prize with options or capabilities other than those specified in the competition details.
- By entering the competition, entrants automatically assign and transfer all copyright and other intellectual property rights in respect of their entries to Clickatell in perpetuity; and waive their moral rights (the rights to
claim authorship of the entries and to object to any change of the entries). Clickatell shall pay no consideration for the assignment, transfer and waiver of rights.
By participating in this promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Clickatell's employees and directors and their immediate relatives may not enter the promotion.
Clickatell may suspend or stop the promotion at any time for any reason. In that case you will have no claim against Clickatell.
You participate in the promotion at your own risk. Clickatell and its employees are not liable to you for any direct or indirect loss, damages or costs arising from your participation, howsoever arising.
The decision of the Clickatell in respect of any aspect of, or dispute arising from this promotion is final and binding and Clickatell will enter into no correspondence.
Clickatell may require you to be identified and photographed. You consent that we may publish your identity and photograph in any media.
All information relating to this promotion and published on any promotional material (including the Internet) will form part of these terms and conditions. But in the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions prevail.
If you win, you cannot exchange the prizes for cash and you cannot transfer the prizes.
